Jonah was played by Archibald Asparagus in the first VeggieTales movie.
In the movie, he is a prophet who is summoned to leave Israel and travel to Ninevah to deliver a message to the people there that tells them to stop being mean and nasty. Jonah, since he hates those people, much like other Israelites, decides to run away to Tarshish, being joined by the Pirates who don't do anything.
